Who we are (data controller)
This page (review.simonandco.co.uk) is operated by Simon & Co, based in England, to offer a free Commercial Finance Review with Simon Wahab, ACCA. For any data question, contact simon@simonandco.co.uk.
What we collect
When you request a review we collect the details you provide (your name, email, business name, optional phone number, your sector, turnover band and finance set-up) so we can arrange and prepare for your session. If you consent to cookies, we also collect standard advertising-measurement and analytics data.
Lawful basis
We process your booking details under legitimate interests, so we can arrange and prepare for the commercial finance review you requested, and to measure which of our ads generated genuine enquiries. Advertising and analytics cookies (the browser Meta Pixel) are set only with your consent.
Cookies & consent (PECR)
No advertising or analytics cookies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, are set until you select “Accept” on the consent banner. If you select “Reject”, only the cookie that remembers your choice is stored. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s data.
Who we share it with (processors)
To run the session we use a small number of service providers as processors: Resend (email), GoHighLevel / LeadConnector (CRM, calendar and SMS), Supabase (secure storage, EU-hosted) and Vercel (website hosting). They process your data only on our instructions. We never sell your data.
Advertising measurement (Meta)
We run ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To measure which ads lead to genuine enquiries, we send Meta a limited set of hashed (irreversibly scrambled) identifiers such as your email or phone via Meta’s server-side Conversions API. This is used only to match and measure ad performance, not to contact you, and Meta acts as a recipient of this data. The browser-based Meta Pixel additionally runs only if you select “Accept” on the consent banner.
International transfers
Some providers (including Meta) may process data in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We retain your contact and booking details for 12 months after your session, then delete them, unless you become a client (in which case our client engagement terms apply).
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, or object to processing, at any time. Just email simon@simonandco.co.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
